Other Programs
The Extended Day Program Early Care Add-On Extracurricular Classes Schedule AMH also offers a program to provide full day care for children enrolled in the 3/4 Day Program. The extended day staff oversees the remainder of the day after 3:00 pm dismissal and plan thematic art, music, cooking and educational game activities. Ample opportunity for outside time is given. We welcome children as early as 8:00 am; they will be greeted by the morning classroom assistant. This program is often used by working parents who find they need to drop off earlier and is available for a small fee. It is generally available on a drop-in basis for a separate fee. Every year, AMH staff and the parent cooperative determine what extracurricular classes are available in addition to the core programs at AMH. In the past, AMH has sponsored classes in foreign languages (Spanish, German), in music (Kindermusik) and in sports (soccer and t-ball). These classes and activities are generally offered on a first come, first serve basis, and cost additional fees. Throughout the year, parents are informed on a regular basis about the availability of such classes. |
