Summer Program
A SUMMER AT AMH
AMH’s Summer Enrichment Program serves as an extension of the Montessori curricula taught in the school year. Inspired by the Montessori classroom’s full range of purposeful work, our program expands on the Practical Life area, including meal prep, bread-baking, body movement, yoga, nature walks, gardening, and more. We also provide activities inspired by the curiosities that emerge from lessons in geography, biology, zoology, and the sciences. Our indoor and outdoor environments allow us to follow the child's passion for exploration and discovery while maintaining the Montessori lens of grace, courtesy, and community harmony.
For students staying after 12:00p.m., tuition includes a hot lunch from Good Food Company.
ELIGIBILITY
Primary Summer Enrichment Program
Children who have at least some experience in the AMH toddler or primary level programs are eligible for attendance and are given priority in enrollment. As space permits, we then open enrollment to the greater community, preferencing children who have some Montessori experience.
To qualify for enrollment in the Primary Summer Enrichment Program, children must be at least two years and six months old and be able to use the toilet independently.
Toddler Summer Enrichment Program
This program is offered to toddlers currently enrolled at AMH and toddlers enrolling in the upcoming school year. To register, children must be at least 16 months old and walking. The Toddler Summer Enrichment Program is not offered to the greater community. AMH toddler families will receive a registration link in January.
